How it works:

In partnership with the not for profit group the New Zone Artist Collective, the Adopt-A-Slug Committee will work to raise awareness of the project and to raise up to $8,000 for the construction, installation and endowment of the Slug Queen Bronze sculpture. Our mission is to raise the entire amount before Spring 2009 and to present the city with the sculpture at the 2009 Slug Queen Coronation ceremony. All donations are tax deductible and can be made at the New Zone Artist Collective Gallery (164 W. Broadway, Eugene, OR) or on-line using the donate button below:

If you would like to write your city councilor, Mayor Kitty Piercy or the City Manager to let them know you would like to see a Bronze Slug Queen Sculpture placed in the Hendrick’s Park rhododendron Garden, please click here:
